WHAT IS CBD?
CBD is the acronym for Cannabidiol, a natural constituent of Hemp Oil that is extracted from the hemp plant. CBD accounts for up to 40% of the plant’s extract and is considered to have a wide variety of wellness properties. Cannabidiol is one of hemp’s many non-psychoactive compounds, meaning that CBD Hemp oil does not get users high and that it cannot be abused. Hemp also contains many other cannabinoids, but cannabidiol is the most predominant in the plant’s biological makeup. Though hemp is cannabis, hemp is not marijuana, making CBD derived from hemp legal in all 50 states and more than 40 countries.
